a day in Copenhagen.
waking up late, lazying around until i managed to get myself into the kitchen and make some wannabe-birchermüesli. Watch BAYWATCH while eating breakfast with one of my kitchenmates. meget hyggelig.
i'm just too lazy.
but still, I finally found myself sitting on my bike. wonder. the weather was nice. nicest since last summer. warm enough to be wearing just my 1000fleures-tanktop-mini-dress with my jeans-shirt.

sitting on my bike I drove over the bridge to Christianshavn... seeing 'Prinsessegade' i took it. knowing it would lead me to the freetown CHRISTIANIA. (for more information &pictures about Chrisitania click here-wiki-we musn't take pictures down there ourselves.)
Maybe I was too early, but apart from the very colorful houses it didn't seem very special.
it actually even seemed to be quite dead. but the atmosphere was very peaceful. very bright day made the colors shine even more.
taking the road along the water i ended up in some 'private area'. There were boats that were houses. The funniest about this was that there were letterboxes on the dock. coup de coeur!
i just kept on driving around with my bike enjoying the sun.
then I ended up at 'kongens nytorv' where i left my bike and went on by foot discovering the very quiet and peaceful neighborhood in between 'magasins' and the water.
'Pder Skram Gade' was completely tom ('empty'). But suddenly a window was opened and a little girl threw an insect out. And I heard someone playing the piano. coup de coeur. how i miss it...
Standing in front of the 'Kongelige Teater' again i picked up my bike seeing a lady having her (very hairy) dog in a basket in front of her bike. how silly.
Like a real tourist I was in Christiania, to carry on with being a real tourist I went to visit Amalienborg. The Royal Residence.
But the tourist in me came up only when I was sitting on my bike. I didn't remember I was a tourist when I left home... And left the two main tourist 'accessoires' in my room: my citymap and my camera (!).
But nonetheless I was a tourist in my new hometown and also drove by the 'lille havfrue' to get to my goal: the best ice in town. I had to check if it still is there.
And it was. lucky me.
But I bought my softice nextdoor, there was less folk waiting...
Sitting near the water, looking at the AIDAferry which was about to leave. (about to- meaning leaving in a few hours...)
Walking back to town with my bike I came across my salvation: a 'døgn NETTO' where I finally could buy a bottle of water... I left my bike there and had a walk in 'Store Kongensgade'.
and then i just walked into a littel 'everything-that-is-funny-shop' and there was - tadam! - a MILK TOOF book! amazing! i just had to read it and it made my day. (if you don't know 'my milk toof': hurry up and click here) coup de coeur! it is just amazingly sweet and funny and... i love it.
Another coup de coeur! that day in this street was the giant TRIPTRAP-chair. how funny.
I picked my bike up and drove a little bit more round and round...
Entered some restaurants, cafés, bakeries, icecreamshops to ask for work.
Went to the library: I brought back this weird 'Book Of Love' i don't want to read and chose some new books: Viola og kærligheden (a danish easy-reader), The Spin Doctor (sounds funny) and Lust (won the 'Nobelpreis für Literatur 2004').
I also went to the restaurant I had worked 2 days to get my money, money, money. Honey, honey, honey.
The beautiful Antonio told me the bigboss wasn't there, so he gave it to me and showed me a box of swiss 'Lindt-Chugle'. The so in love Luigi coudn't concentrate on his food while I was there and the what's-his-name-amore thought I came for working. No way.
Greenpeace boys wanted to ask me for something, I just told them I'm not 18 yet. (ha, this trick still works.)
In possess of 3 new books and a little bit of money I sat down on the stairs in front of the university and started reading The Spin Doctor, which I quite like... I had to chase the sun who was trying to get away from me.
A boy came and asked me if I wanted a piece of fruit and a flyer about some new healthy-take-away. sounds good.
After shopping for my dinner I tried to carry all the stuff home. The sexy Franco saw me and told he would call. He didn't. lucky me.
Made myself some delicious food (rice with a pepper-carrot-cream-cheese-sauce) and watched some tv.
Spent the evening answering some mails, reading blogs, reading books ('Lust' is weird.), and so on.
nice, quite lazy, sunny day.
love. PinkLady
